Lee Holland Stages
The Lee Holland Memorial Trophy Stages Rally is a long-established, single-venue stage rally organised jointly by Pendle District Motor Club and Garstang & Preston Motor Club.
Traditionally held at Trac Môn, Anglesey Circuit, the event welcomes both junior and senior competitors for a full day of sealed-surface rallying around the circuit and its surrounding perimeter roads.
About the rally
The Lee Holland Memorial Trophy Stages Rally has become a popular fixture in the UK circuit rally calendar. The 2026 event marked its 31st running, reflecting the rally’s long history and continued popularity among competitors.
The event is designed to provide competitive, well-organised rallying for a wide range of crews, from young drivers developing through Junior 1000 competition to experienced senior teams competing in powerful modern and historic rally cars.
The event and route
The rally consists of several special stages using the Anglesey race circuit and surrounding perimeter roads. The course is run entirely on sealed surfaces, with a mixture of maintained circuit sections and more challenging areas of broken tarmac.
Recent editions have offered up to approximately 40 competitive stage miles, with cars starting at short intervals throughout the day. Junior competitors complete each stage first, followed by the senior field.
The route changes each year, so competitors should always refer to the latest regulations, roadbook and final instructions before attending.

Junior and senior competition
The Lee Holland Stages provides competition for both junior and senior crews.
Junior rallying gives younger drivers the opportunity to develop their skills in controlled, closely regulated cars, while the senior event attracts a broad field across multiple Motorsport UK classes.
The event has formed part of championships including:
- Protyre Circuit Rally Championship
- F1000 Junior Rally Championship
- Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge
- F1000 Senior Rally Championship
- ANWCC Stage Rally Championship
- ANWCC North Wales Stage Rally Challenge
- ANWCC Ladies and Allrounders Championships
- SD34 Motorsport Group Championships
Because the championship programme may change, the confirmed list for each year should appear in that year’s regulations post.
Competing in the event
Entries are submitted online and are usually accepted in order of completed application and payment. The event has historically attracted strong interest, so competitors are encouraged to enter promptly once entries open.

Marshals & volunteers
Volunteer marshals are essential to the safe and successful running of the Lee Holland Stages Rally.
The organising clubs welcome support from experienced marshals and anyone interested in becoming involved in motorsport volunteering. Recent events have also provided a contribution towards marshals’ attendance expenses.

The Anglesey Circuit welcomes spectators to the Lee Holland Stages. Spectator tickets may be available through the circuit, although prices and access arrangements can change each year.
